DG Collision Center publishes repair guides, cost explainers, and insurance-claim education alongside our service pages. People make real financial decisions based on what they read here — whether to file a claim, what a fair estimate looks like, which rights Texas law gives them. This page explains who writes that content, what standards it must meet, where our information comes from, and how we correct mistakes.

Who Writes and Reviews Our Content

Every guide and article on this site is reviewed and approved before publication by Shah Jiwani, owner of DG Collision Center. Shah has more than 30 years of hands-on collision repair experience in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. He joined DG Collision in the 1990s, took over as owner in 2005, and still personally oversees vehicle intake, insurance coordination, and final quality control on every repair. His credentials include I-CAR Gold Class, PPG Certified Refinish, and Sherwin-Williams Automotive certification.

The questions our articles answer are the questions customers ask across our counter every week: "Will my rates go up?", "Do I have to use my insurer's shop?", "Is this estimate final?" The answers are drawn from the shop floor, not assembled from other websites.

Sources We Rely On

How Content Is Produced

Articles are drafted with the help of modern research and writing tools, then reviewed line by line, fact-checked, and approved by Shah Jiwani before anything is published. Every article displays its reviewer and a visible "Updated" date, and the same information is embedded in the page's structured data so search engines and AI assistants can verify who stands behind it and how fresh it is.

Updates & Corrections

Repair costs, insurance practices, and laws change. We review published articles periodically and whenever a reader, customer, or regulator flags something. Substantive changes update the visible date on the article. If we got a fact wrong, we correct the text itself — not with a buried footnote.

Found an error? Tell us. We verify and correct legitimate issues promptly, typically within two business days.

Advertising & Independence

We do not publish sponsored posts, accept payment for placement in our guides, or participate in affiliate programs. No insurance carrier, parts supplier, or vehicle manufacturer pays for — or previews — our editorial content. When we mention insurers or brands by name, it's because the information helps you, not because of a commercial relationship.

Not Legal, Insurance, or Financial Advice

Our articles are general educational information for Texas drivers. They are not legal advice, insurance advice, or a substitute for reading your own policy. For decisions specific to your claim or situation, talk to your insurer, agent, or an attorney — and feel free to call us about the repair side.
